ADRC

MONROE — The ADRC of Southwest Wisconsin is partnering with the ADRC of Rock County on featuring a caregiving presentation on “Moving Forward: Grief and Ambiguous Loss Associated with Dementia Caregiving.”

Dementia Care Specialist, Karen Tennyson, of Rock County ADRC, will discuss the difficulties of caregiving, especially when it comes to someone living with dementia. Caregivers face many challenges, including the daily changes and losses of their loved one. This conversation will assist caregivers in finding support, identifying their feelings, and exploring the skills to cope.

The presentation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Green County Human Services Building, N3152 Wis. 81, Monroe. It will be held in the lower level of the building in multipurpose rooms 2 and 3. RSVP is not required.
