BELOIT - Beloit College has announced that senior Norah G. Perry, Monroe, has achieved academic distinction during the Fall term of the academic year and has been named to the Dean's List, which recognizes students who have maintained at least a 3.4 cumulative grade point average for the semester.

RIPON - The following area Ripon College students have been named to the institution's Dean's List for the fall 2010 semester, which recognizes academic excellence: Brittany Marie Lahaie, Juda, first year, undeclared major; and Katlyn M Lee, Monroe, a junior, undeclared major. To qualify for the Dean's List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.

WHITEWATER - The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater announced more than 2,800 students were named to the fall 2010 Dean's List. To be eligible for the honor, students must have a 3.4 semester grade point average with a minimum of 12 semester credits and no grades lower than a "C."

Area honors are as follows: Jennifer J. Diehlmann, Leslie P. Einbeck, Matthew A. Farrar, Timothy S. Gellings, Brittney C. Hagerty, Evoanna K. Kelley Correa, James F. Kundert, Christopher A. Line, Rachel J. Magellan, Dylan M. McGuire, Keenan R. Minogue, Gina L. Molinaro, Marie E. Nider, Ethan L. Schmid, Tamara M. Schulte, Lance C. VanMeer, and Jordan A. Williams, all of Monroe; Haley M. Blum, Jacob M. Edge, and Kristen E. Smith, all of Monticello; and Savannah L. Ernzen and Justin A. Jenson, both of South Wayne; and Joshua Pierce, Juda.
