Senior Melodie Johnson, daughter of David and Amy Johnson, Monroe, was named to the Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind., dean's list during the fall semester.
To be eligible for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled full time. Johnson, a biology major, is a graduate of Monroe Senior High School.
