EAU CLAIRE - University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics student Eric Plantenberg, a junior from Monroe, represented Wisconsin at the Interstate Oratory Contest April 24-26 at the state capitol in Madison.

Plantenberg placed sixth in the nation with a strong performance in the semi-finals and in the finals. He competed against 88 individuals representing 35 states.
