APPLETON - The following area students were awarded bachelor's degrees June 12 by Lawrence University at its 167th commencement.
Brooke Heinzmann, daughter of Paul Bloedorn, Monroe, and Debra Bloedorn, New Glarus, earned a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies. She is a 2010 graduate of New Glarus High School.
Jenni Sefcik, daughter of Andrew and Ann Sefcik, Monroe, earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in psychology and Spanish. She is a 2012 graduate of Monroe High School.
