A ‘super-fruit’ worth celebrating

2021 Alice in Dairyland, Julia Nunes, stands knee-deep in bog of cranberries.
Each year, on the last weekend in September, more than 140,000 people make their way to Warrens, Wisconsin. The village of 300 people opens their doors and welcomes guests to their streets, their sidewalks, and even their front lawns. Visitors from all over the world come to this small country village to savor and enjoy our state’s fruit: the cranberry.
