DARLINGTON - The Lafayette Association for Home and Community Education's annual Children's Clothing Exchange was held Aug. 23 at the American Legion Hall.
There were 73 children from 26 different families that were served from throughout Lafayette County and the surrounding area.
The HCE annual event is a way for clothes to be recycled, especially when they are in good condition.
Each year, the children's clothing collection takes place the Thursday before the annual event, which is always held the fourth Saturday in August. Gently used and outgrown children's clothing can be donated to the exchange next year.
