BRODHEAD — Brodhead’s Local ADAW Tractor Drive/Ride Committee announces the 6th Annual Tractor Drive & Ride on Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Kelch Aviation Museum. The event is open to the public and a tractor is not needed to participate.

There will be two shifts for rides this year at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each ride consists of a drive by a local senior nursing home and then off to a scenic tour of the countryside. Tractor drivers must have a valid driver’s license or Tractor Safety Certificate. Lunch will be available for a free will donation and will be served up by Boy Scout Troop #108 of brats, hot dogs and hamburgers. There will be a brief presentation of “10 Tips to a Brain Healthy Lifestyle” from Teena Monk-Gerber, Dementia Outreach Specialist of Green & Rock Counties for the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin. Funds raised from the Tractor Drive/Ride will benefit programs, support and services to Green County families from the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Sept. 22, at the Kelch Aviation Museum in Brodhead. In addition to the Tractor Drive/Ride, there will also be classic cars and airplanes on display.
