BLANCHARDVILLE - The Yellowstone Lake 56th annual Fisharee will be held Sunday, Feb. 2 at Yellowstone Lake State Park, 8495 Lake Road. The snow date for the event is Sunday, Feb. 9.
The event is an open house for the park; no park sticker is required but a fishing license is required.
At noon, the Darlington Fire Department will feature an ice rescue demonstration. A youth ice fishing seminar is set for 1 p.m. A Spudding contest is set for 2 p.m. The main drawing is set for 3 p.m.; door prizes/drawings will be held throughout the day.
First, second and third place prizes will be available for largest fish and several other categories. All fish must be caught from Yellowstone Lake.
All proceeds used for conservation projects in Lafayette County.
