4th annual Angels Among Us event set for April 22

MONROE - The fourth annual Angels Among Us fun run will be April 22 at the SLICE arena in Monroe. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. and the walk/run at 10 a.m.

A live auction will begin at 11 a.m. for two angel prints donated by local artists Joan Stackpole and Taren Blumer.

Andy Yaun - The Rockabilly Kid will be performing. A memory banner will be displayed on which people can honor loved ones who have died.

There will also be a bounce house for children, face painting, cotton candy and a photo booth.

Registrations are still being accepted. Register online at jacobsswag.org or the day of the event.

All proceeds are kept in the Green County area to help promote suicide awareness and mental health. The event will be held rain or shine and is hosted by Tyler's TEAM Foundation and Jacob's SWAG Foundation.
