4-H members perform at festival

JUDA - Various Green County 4-H members participated at the 2014 Green County 4-H Communication and Performing Arts Festival held April 26 at Juda Schools.

The event is held to promote the performing arts, and 4-H members were able to share their talents by performing on stage. Divisions in which they could perform were music, dance, verbal and nonverbal performances and skits. Music participants could play an instrumental or sing a vocal selection of their choice. Verbal performances could include monologues, comedy acts, magic and puppet shows. Nonverbal acts would be clowning and doing a mime. Skits are done by 4-H clubs. There were 65 different entries presented. Individuals that participated represented six of the Green County 4-H Clubs, including Cheese Country Clovers, Clarence Bridge Pioneers, Decatur, New Horizons, Spring Grove Honest Workers and Young Americans.
