MONROE - The Green County 4-H Program held its annual awards and recognition program on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the Green County Justice Center.
Every year, Green County 4-H recognizes an individual or business that helps support the 4-H program in a many ways. Green County 4-H clubs and individuals can nominate a group or individual each year to receive this award.
The 2013 Green County "Friend of 4-H" award was awarded to Badgerland Financial. Badgerland Financial has been a supporter of the Green County 4-H Program and Green County Fair by being one of the sponsors for the Master Showman event, a round robin showmanship contest for 4-H and FFA youth that exhibit dairy, beef, swine, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry. They have also donated water during the shows and have provided milk and cookies and taken photos for many dairy and livestock exhibitors for a number of years.
