MONROE — Appointments are now available for free income tax preparation services for low to moderate income, elderly and disabled persons through the AARP Foundation/Tax-Aide program. Assistance provided includes the preparation of federal and state (including homestead) income taxes. Appointments are available in Monroe on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Feb. 4 through April 8. Appointments start at 8:30 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. at the Green County Government Services Building, N3152 State Rd 81, Monroe. Call the ADRC at 608-328-9499 to schedule an appointment.
