Many businesses throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and other states donated to 2025 Green County Dairy Days to support both the County Queen and Princess Crowning Banquet and the Dairy Cattle Show. The cattle show is funded 100% by the donations received from these very generous sponsors. Because of their generous donations, we are able to offer the cattle show as a free event for all youth in grades 3 through 13, enabling anyone with a dairy heifer and the desire, to participate in the show. Each exhibitor received a complimentary t-shirt, bucket, halter, and ice cream from the Dairy Days Committee to commemorate their participation in the event, as well as very generous premiums to enable them to continue their dairy projects.
Brian Coyne and Krysty Kamps served as our judges for the cattle show. We were very honored to have these two outstanding judges for our show. We thank them for taking time to evaluate our exhibitors and their animals and we appreciate their dedication to the future of the dairy industry.
Our Brown Swiss and Other Colored Breeds Judge is Krysty Kamps from Darlington. Krysty Kamps resides in Darlington with her husband Reggie, and their three children Demi (8), Elliot (6), and Alayah (3), where they own and operate Kamps Rx Genetics. They currently raise over 100 head of Registered Holsteins, focusing on Red and White Holsteins. They also own a few Jerseys, along with two Ayrshires and one Brown Swiss. Krysty and her family are proud of the recognition they received as Premier Breeder of the 2024 Red and White Spring Showcase and breeding multiple All-American nominations since the formation of Kamps Rx Genetics in 2014. They are very proud of having at least one All American nomination of an Apple B daughter for the past 7 years.
