2024 NRF Photo Contest now open
Community Brief

MADISON — Photographers all over the state are sorting through their best photos of Wisconsin’s natural beauty, looking for winners.

The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin (NRF) has just opened their 11th annual Photo Contest. Each year, photographers are invited to submit their photos for a chance to win prizes and be featured in Bridges, NRF’s magazine. Photos can be submitted anytime between now and 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 1.

This year, NRF has announced five different categories for photo submissions. The 2024 Photo Contest categories are: Landscapes, Birds, Flora & Fungi, Insects Amphibians & Reptiles, and People & Other Mammals.

There will be one winner from each category, and one of the category winners will be selected as the grand prize winner. There will also be a People’s Choice winner, chosen by the public from a selection of photos.
