MONROE — 2023 Dance Company from Monroe just completed its third season competing in a National Dance Competition held in Wisconsin Dells. Over five days, the National Competition had over 2,000 routines, with three rooms competing every day.
2023 Dance Company performed several large group, small group, duets and solos in their largest competition to date. Their goal was to place high enough to qualify a few of their dances into the Grand National Showdown, and they did just that.
Dance one, mini tap, “Ice Cream Crazy,” had the highest score in their age division, earning the title, “Grand Nationals Mini Champion.”
Dance two, a teen small group, “What Joins Us All?” took second place in the Grand National Showdown!
Cambree Moyer made it into the Grand National Showdown with her solo “Hound Dog” and came in third at the Grand Nationals Showdown.
