NEW GLARUS — New Glarus School District is pleased to announce that Julie Anderson, New Glarus High School FACS teacher, and FCCLA Advisor was recently named a recipient of the 2021 National FCCLA Master Adviser Award.
The Master Adviser Award is presented to advisers who have been affiliated with an FCCLA chapter for a minimum of 3 years, promoting the organization, operating an integrated chapter with a balanced program of work, facilitating youth-centered activities, and keeping abreast of new happenings within the organization.
“We are very proud of Julie Anderson,” Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Thayer said. “She is extremely deserving of this award. We are fortunate to have her here in our District leading our FCCLA organization.”
Anderson is one of 73 advisers nationwide to be recognized with this award. The award will be presented to Anderson at the Hybrid National Leadership Conference on June 30.
