To the Editor:
The Biden Administration left $82.9 Billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan. This equipment includes 208 aircraft and helicopters; 75,000 war vehicles and 600,000 weapons — including 350,000 M4 and M16 rifles, 60,000 machine guns, and 25,000 grenade launchers. The Biden Administration also expects us to believe that these weapons will not end up in the hands of the Taliban, who are taking over Afghanistan.
The Biden Administration then scrubbed their websites to remove reports of these weapons, allegedly for “security” reasons.
Security? Honestly?
That might be believable if the Biden Administration hadn’t given the Taliban the names of our American citizens and allies in Afghanistan.
In more sensible times, we might even call giving weapons and information to a terrorist group “giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States,” or in other words, treason.
America has (or at least used to have) the strongest military in the world. And yet, the Biden Administration could not secure one Afghan airport. Rather, they had to outsource security to terrorists by making a deal with the Taliban.
The terrorists performed their end of the deal as could be expected.
Biden’s military brilliance killed thirteen of our military service members.
The Democrats in the House of Representatives took a moment of silence to honor the 13 service members killed in Afghanistan.
The House Democrats then immediately thereafter refused to even hear discussion on a bill that would ensure the evacuation of every American remaining in Afghanistan.
Hypocritical perhaps?
We need elected officials who will hold the Biden Administration accountable for Afghanistan.
The Democrats in Congress sure aren’t going to do it.
VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE IN 2022!
