A huge blossom to Monroe's Public Safety Committee for the long awaited four-way stop sign at 8th Street and 6th Avenue West.

Alderman Beer is right - the four-way stop sign caused absolutely no problem during construction.

It will reduce speed coming downhill from the north, reduce accidents, and allow traffic on 8th Street to safely cross 6th Avenue West. It's a win/win situation all the way around. Let's keep it that way. - John Waelti, Monroe
