It is a phenomenon that I cant help but note whenever I see it, which seems like its just about any time we take photographs and Monroe school-age kids.

Its those Campions Champions T-shirts. Theyre everywhere!

A tie-dye version of the shirt appears in todays edition, in a photo of three kids who were fishing Tuesday at Lake Francis.

Whenever we get crowd shots at a Monroe sporting event, theres a Campions Champions T-shirt there.

Whenever were in the classroom to take photographs of a school activity, theres a Campions Champions T-shirt there.

I even suspect that somewhere, underneath one of the MHS graduates this year, was a Campions Champions T-shirt.

It seems you cant go anywhere in Monroe without seeing one. I even saw someone walking around the Mall of Americas in Bloomington, Minn., a couple of years ago.

I wonder what percentage of kids who grew up in Monroe own, or at one time owned, a Campions Champions T-shirt. Are they included in care packages given at birth?! Its Monroes unofficial uniform.

What a great testimony to Monsignor Thomas Campion and the work he does in the community!
