On Saturday, March 4, the Monroe Wrestling Club wrestlers headed to either Verona or Ithaca. Three wrestlers competed at the Ithaca Youth Wrestling Tournament: Kasen Fritchen (2016-18 45-47lbs) first place; Nolan Fritchen (2010-11 64-69lbs) third place; and Paityn Fritchen (2008-09 88-92lbs) fourth place.       

Also on Saturday, March 4, seventeen MWC wrestlers competed at the Verona Classic. The results at that tournament were Kraig Walter (2008-09 122-127lbs) third place; Tristen Laws (2008-09 130-140lbs) fourth place; Joah Wellman (2008-09 160-166lbs) fourth place; Aiden Mosley (2008-09 170-195lbs) third place; Kenlie Seffrood (1010-11 76-83lbs) fourth place; Addi Treuthardt (2010-11 135-147lbs) third place; Dixon Starr (2012-13 53-58lbs) first place; Colton Ladwig (2012-13 54-58lbs) third place; Samuel Queen (2012-13 59-62lbs) third place; Grayson Wallin (2012-13 62-63lbs) third place; Blaine Fletcher (2012-13 76-80lbs) second place; Nico Foulker (2014-15 51-55lbs) fourth place; Jakobie Liphart (2014-15 57-59lbs) second place; Trace Rowe (2014-15 74-82lbs) third place; Lexi Seffrood (Girls 2008-09 108-124lbs) third place; Jaylinn Miller (Girls 2010-11 149-166lbs) first place; and Brynlee Seffrood (Girls 2014-15 54-58lbs) first place.

On Sunday, March 5,  thirteen MWC wrestlers competed at the Dodgeville Wrestling Tournament. The results from the day were Kasen Fritchen (8U 44-45lbs) first place;  Eli Schmitz (8U 55-57lbs) first place; Trace Rowe (8U 75-80lbs) second place; Colton Ladwig (10U 54-57lbs) second place; Jakobie Liphart (10U 56-59lbs A) first place; Dixon Starr (10U 56-59lbs B) first place; Jaxon Gobeli (10U 80-84lbs) second place; Decklin Doran (10U 86-89lbs) fourth place; Nolan Fritchen (12U 63-65lbs) third place; Evan Johnson (12U 109-116lbs) third place; Caleb Schmitz (14U 61-67lbs) first place; Paityn Fritchen (14U 87-97lbs) fourth place; and Jaylinn Miller (14U 166-185lbs) first place.

Regional qualifiers will be on Saturday, March 18.
