WIOTA - The Wiota Indians put it all on the line to top Orfordville 7-6 in eight innings in Monday's Night League make-up game.

Kory Tuescher laid down a perfect suicide squeeze with bases loaded and one out in the eighth to bring in Brock Bidlingmaier from third to score the game winning run.

Wiota scored six runs in the third inning off of seven hits, but couldn't hold the lead.

Taylor Wiegel pitched a scoreless first four innings for the Indians, but reliever Alex Abraham was knocked around in the fifth. After just one out in the inning, Nick Flannery was summoned to take over on the mound. In all, Orfordville scored six runs in the fifth to tie the game.

Flannery pitched the rest of the way to pick up the win on the hill.

Brad Schliem was 2-for-3 for Wiota with a big two-run double in the third. Dan Fritsch was 3-3 and Jay Haldiman and Jeremy Williams both had doubles.

Wiota will find out tonight who their playoff opponent will be.
