Redbirds outlast Boscobel

DARLINGTON - Sophomore Callie Norton scored a game-high 19 points to propel Darlington to a 46-39 win over Boscobel Friday.

Boscobel raced out to a 23-16 lead at the half. Darlington answered with a 14-6 run in the third quarter. The Redbirds outscored the Bulldogs 30-16 in the second half.

Darlington senior Taylor Cox had 12 points and freshman Kennedy Rankin chipped in eight points. With the win, Darlington improves to 5-17, 4-10 SWAL.

New Glarus 40

LODI - The New Glarus girls basketball team went through a cold spell and were limited without a basket for more than 8 minutes in a the third quarter in a 55-40 loss to Lodi Friday.

Lodi went on a 20-1 run in the third quarter to seal the win. Lodi's Taylor Baker scored a game-high 20 points.

New Glarus sophomore Evonne Strahm scored a team-high 14 points and drilled two 3-pointers. Junior teammate Tamara Elzen added 13 points. New Glarus (7-15, 4-6 Capitol South) shot 78.5 percent from the free-throw line (11 of 14).
