OSHKOSH — New Glarus graduate Francesca Schiro was nominated for the Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week for Dec. 6. She was previously named Athlete of the Week for Nov. 6.

Molly Hosack of UW-Eau Claire earned the honor. Swimming against NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III competition at the Rochester (Minn.) Invitational from Nov. 30-Dec. 2, Hosack won two individual events and was a member of the winning 800-yard freestyle relay team, posting three conference-leading times in the process. She set a WIAC-leading time of 5:08.57 to win the 500-yard freestyle, set another top conference mark of 17:39.97 to win the 1,650-yard freestyle, and placed third in the 200-yard freestyle. Hosack also helped the 800-yard freestyle relay team clock in at 7:46.24, which is another top time in the WIAC.
