Rebel Twisters finish season unbeaten

MONROE - The U-14 girls Rebel Twisters team finished their undefeated season with three more wins over the weekend.

The girls hosted Middleton on Saturday and earned a 2-0 victory. Anna Latimer had four saves as goalie the first half. Dani Larraga scored for the Twisters in the first half. The second goal of the game was scored by Olivia Werth in the second half.

Shots on goal were Ally Einbeck, Taylor Adkins, Brynn Ritschard and Morgan Seffrood. In the second half, Werth, Adkins, Lauren Hlubeck and Larraga had shots on goal. Latimer recorded four more saves.

On Sunday, the girls traveled to Sauk Prairie in the morning and then returned to Monroe to take on Black Rush Wisconsin. In Sauk Prairie, the girls won 2-0 with two first-half goals by Kennedy Ludwig. The first goal by Ludwig was assisted by Einbeck. Latimer had six saves in the first half and eight saves in the second half.

Shots on goal came from Adkins, Ritschard, Seffrood, Werth, Einbeck and Sydney Mathiason.

The final game of the spring season ended in thrilling 3-2 victory over Black Rush. Brynn Ritschard scored in the first half. Latimer had six saves in goal.

Black Rush scored soon after the half followed by a goal by Adkins on an assist by Werth to regain the lead. Rush scored again to tie it up. Adkins scored the final goal of the season to give the Twisters the win. Latimer had 10 saves the second half with shots on goal from Mathiason, Werth and Seffrood.
