No. 2 Cuba City rolls past Redbirds

CUBA CITY - The Darlington boys basketball team was no match for second-ranked Cuba City, as the Cubans rolled to an 80-33 win Friday night.

With the win, Cuba City (13-0), ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press Division 4 state poll, has swept the season series against the Redbirds.

The Cubans outscored Darlington 23-5 in the second quarter to build an 18-point halftime lead. Cuba City also outscored Darlington 44-15 in the second half.



CLINTON 83, BRODHEAD 45

CLINTON - For the second time this year, Clinton cruised past Brodhead.

The Cougars jumped out to a seven-point lead and then outscored the Cardinals 27-8 in the second quarter to take a 26 point lead at the half.

The Cougars extended their lead, outscoring the Cardinals 22-9 in the third quarter. However, Brodhead (4-11) rallied to outscore Clinton 18-17 in the fourth.
