HARTLAND - Mike Muranyi, Monroe, finished tied for 38th Thursday at the U.S. Senior Open qualifying event at Chenequa Country Club.
Muranyi, the former PGA pro at the Monroe Country Club, shot a 12-over-par 83.
The top two golfers moved on, while the third and fourth players will serve as alternates.
Also Thursday, the Wisconsin State Golf Association announced the pairings for the first and second rounds of the annual Wisconsin State Amateur Championship, held July 19 and 20 at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls.
Michael Oellerich of the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club, New Glarus, will tee off at 1:24 p.m. July 19, and at 8:24 a.m. July 20.
Craig Hodgson, also of Edelweiss, tees off at 1:51 p.m. July 19, and 8:51 a.m. July 20.
