Marshall stops Knights

MARSHALL - The Marshall High School boys basketball team clinched the Capitol South championship with Friday's 80-58 victory over New Glarus.

The Cardinals (17-3, 9-0) led 31-25 at halftime. Adam Wehking finished with 19 points to lead Marshall. Brandon Neuberger added 18, Adam Link 16 and Jordon Gomez 15.

Jaden Kreklow paced New Glarus (12-7, 7-2) with 21 points, including two 3-pointers and a 7-of-7 effort from the free-throw line. Gavin Binger scored 16 points.
