STEVENS POINT — The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) recently released its rosters for the All-Star games to be held this summer. Girls will play on Wednesday, June 26 and the Boys on Thursday, June 27.
Eight local athletes and three coaches will represent their teams — players James Seagreaves (Monroe), Will Murray (Darlington), Ryer Indergand (Monticello), Alana Durtschi (Albany-Monticello), Anna Tisch (Argyle-Pecatonica), Addison Yates (Brodhead), Aubrey McCarthy (Darlington) and Lindsey Schadewalt (New Glarus) and coaches Kevin Parman (New Glarus), Brad Solberg (Darlington) and New Glarus graduate Courtney Feller (Lancaster).
Players and coaches are raising money for the Midwest Athletes against Childhood Cancer Fund. Those wishing to donate can do so on their desired athletes’ page or on the generic All-Star game donation page. Top individual players, individual coaches and team fundraisers will be recognized at the event. Last year’s top fundraisers were Potosi’s Emily Bierman ($37,111), Belmont coach Kaleen McGettigan ($2,375) and the Division 4-South girls team ($57,598).
