ORFORDVILLE — Sam Schwengels had a night to remember in a Trailways Conference crossover triangular on Thursday, Jan. 11. The senior picked up his 100th career win with a pin of Princeton-Green Lake’s Rhys Taylor in the second dual of Parkview-Albany’s senior night.
Other seniors recognized were Lexi Hanson, Danny Finley, Jayden Anderson and Nick Stokstad.
As the team, the Vikings went 1-1 on the night with a 51-30 win over Rio-Cambria-Friesland-Fall River-Randolph. PA fell to Princeton-Green Lake 48-26.
Schwengels (190), ranked No. 4 in Division 3 for his weight class, was one of five wrestlers that picked up two wins on the night, including Slater Valley (113), Finley (126), Peter Roth (144) and Wes Egan (215).
