LA CROSSE — Belleville saw its spring volleyball season come to an end in the WIAA Division 2 sectional semifinals April 13. The Wildcats were defeated by eventual state-qualifying Royall, 18-25, 13-25, 25-17, 14-25.

Ava Foley led Belleville with 7 kills, while Callie Smith added six. Smith also finished the night with four blocks. Foley added 4 aces and 21 digs. Brooke Everson scored on two blocks. Alyssa and Mikayla Caskey each had an ace. Josey Latorre had 17 assists and Mel Humke finished the night with 18 digs.

Marah and Emma Gruen each had 16 kills and 3 aces for Royall.
