BELLEVILLE — Sugar River ran to a 0-0 draw against Stoughton in a cold, extremely windy nonconference game April 14.

The Raiders out-shot the visiting Vikings 6-3, but both goalkeepers — Morgan Thompson (SR) and Anna Sedlacek (Stoughton) — kept everything in front of them.

Sugar River moves to 1-0-1 on the season, while Stoughton is 1-3-1. The Raiders were scheduled to host DeForest April 18, then Lake Mills April 21 in a major Capitol Conference tilt.

In other area action, Monroe lost to Lodi 3-0. The Cheesemakers (1-2) were scheduled to host Platteville-Lancaster April 18 for the home opener, with Dodgeville-Mineral Point at MHS the next evening. On April 21, Monroe will travel to Edgewood.
