BLANCHARDVILLE — Monticello capped the regular season with an unbeaten record in the Six Rivers East, toppling Pecatonica 82-49 in the finale Feb. 27.
Peter Gustafson scored 21 points to lead Monticello. Owen Ace and Devin Holtz each had 15 points for the Ponies, while teammate Reece Rufer finished with 13 and Rudy Wicker eight.
Monticello led 37-18 at halftime.
Darlington 64, Mineral Point 61
MINERAL POINT — The fourth-ranked Redbirds erased a 3-point halftime deficit in their regular season finale Feb. 27.
Carter Lancaster led all players with 24 points for Darlington. He added nine rebounds and five assists and was a perfect 6 for 6 from the free throw line. Easton Evenstad had 11 points, while Hunter Hardyman finished with nine, Cayden Rankin eight and Curtis Stone seven.
Joah Filardo had 19 points to lead the Pointers.
Barneveld 76, Albany 30
ALBANY — Rob Schroeder scored 12 points and Jevon Ferguson added 11, but the Comets were unable to stay with the Eagles in the regular season finale Feb. 27.
CCCC Ignatius led Barneveld with 16 points, while Damon Hendrickson had 13, Dayne Archie 11 and Jack Thompson 10.
Barneveld led 36-17 at halftime, but outscored Albany 46-13 in the second half.
Turner 65, Brodhead 60
BRODHEAD — The Cardinals trailed by seven at halftime and couldn’t catch up in the regular season finale Feb. 27.
Devon Anderson led Brodhead with 14 points, while Owen Leifker and Cade Walker each had 11. Connor Green chipped in with eight and Brady Malkow added nine. The Cardinals hit 11 3s as a team, but connected on just seven 2-pointers.
Dai’Vontrelle Strong led Turner with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
Cambridge 73, New Glarus 72
NEW GLARUS — The Glarner Knights just barely missed out on a perfect conference record Feb. 28. Cambridge senior guard Fritz Kaiser hit a 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds left in regulation to give his team the lead.
Mason Martinson led New Glarus with 25 points. Connor Siegenthaler knocked down four 3-pointers and had 19 points for the Knights, while Darris Schuett finished with 10. Garrett James and Deven Vasquez each had seven points.
Jack Nikolay led all scorers with 34 points for the Blue Jays, while teammate Trey Coltz had 11.
