STOUGHTON — Monroe-New Glarus swimming keeps kicking, most recently defeating Stoughton (119-50) and Portage (122-44) in a triple dual on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Depth continues to be a strength for the Cheese Knights, as the squad has two relay lineups. In the three relay categories, the No. 1 squad took first each time, with the No. 2 relay in either third or fourth. MNG puts forth three swimmers in individual events, where the Cheese Knights swept in the 50-yard freestyle.
In total, there were nine first-place finishes, four second-place finishes and eight third-place finishes.
