MONROE — The Monroe Golf Club held its annual Club Championship Aug. 28-29.

Champions included: Brent Quade, Championship Flight; David Frey, First Flight; Bob Flanagan, Second Flight; and Scott Jacobson, Third Flight.

The Labor Day Open, a two-person, one-net best ball tournament, will be held at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The course will be closed the following two days for aeration. The Days of Cheese Par 3 event will be held Sept. 17, with the Days of Cheese Scramble held the following morning and the Days of Cheese Big Cup on Sept. 19.

Other events in September include the Green County Humane Society Putting for Puppies outing Sept. 24, and Drew’s Masochist Open Sept. 26.
