Live: Black Hawk vs. Fall River state hoops
State girls hoops

10:3 - It's a final here in Green Bay, 71-39, Black Hawk advances to the state championship against either Clayton or Wausau Newman.

10:28 a.m. - Bailey Butler and Natalie Leuzinger will each finish with 18 points for Black Hawk, while Hannah Butler has 14 and Maddy Huschitt 8. Black Hawk is also winning the turnover battle, 24-8.

10:26 a.m. - Black Hawk leads 71-39 with just 1:56 left. The Warriors will be playing for the state championship tomorrow at 11 a.m., barring the craziest comeback in the history of mankind.

10:18 a.m. - Last TV timeout. Black Hawk leads 66-32. Warriors just 13 points from the record in a state tourney game.

Also, Black Hawk won the $2,000 prize from the WIAA Division 5 for the "Rush to the Resch", as Warrior Nation sold the most pre-sale tickets for the state game for Division 5.

10:11 a.m. - Another TV timeout. Black Hawk leads 60-31. Fall River has too big of a hill to climb, but Black Hawk can't afford to start getting sloppy. Coach Mike Flanagan is using the break to remind his players to keep calm, run the offense and to finish strong.

10:05 a.m. - Our first TV timeout of the second half. Fall River has come out and run to the blocks, but Black Hawk still controls the whole game. Warriors lead 56-26 with 13:26 left.

9:46 a.m. - We've hit halftime, Black Hawk leads 51-16. Kristen Knapp found Leuzinger in the corner for a 3 with one second left. Leuzinger has 16, Hannah Butler 12 and Bailey Butler 11. That's three Warriors in double-figures in the first half. Fall River's Karlee Van Gysel has 10, six of which coming from the free throw line.

Question for the second half will be (not if BH will win, because let's be honest, they are not going to blow a 35-point lead), will Black Hawk set the state record for points in a state tournament game (79)? If the Warriors don't let off the gas, it shouldn't be a problem the way they are playing today.

9:42 a.m. - Everyone is getting in on the action now. Bailey Butler hit two straight 3s and Kaylee Marty added another. 2:25 left in the first half and Black Hawk is up 42-16.

9:37 a.m. - Just 3:47 left in the first half, but Black Hawk now leads 33-12. Natalie Leuzinger has 13 points and Hannah Butler has 12 for Black Hawk.

9:28 a.m. - Black Hawk has officially taken over this game. Warriors have forced turnovers in Fall River's last eight possessions and are on a 9-0 run. It's 23-10 with 8:46 left in the first after a Pirates timeout.

9:21 a.m. - Another TV Timeout. Black Hawk leads 14-10. Fall River is using their height inside to get high percentage shots. Black Hawk is getting sparked right now from junior Hannah Butler, who has used her quick hands to snag a few steals already.

9:15 a.m. - TV timeout with 13:57 left in the first quarter. Black Hawk leads 8-5. Slightly slow start, but Hannah Butler hit back-to-back 3s for BH to give them the lead. Maddy Huschitt on the bench with two fouls already.

9:05 a.m. - Introducing the starting lineups! For Black Hawk, it will be senior Sydney Delzer,  juniors Natalie Leuzinger, Hannah Butler and Maddy Huschitt, and sophomore Bailey Butler.

8:50 a.m. - Teams take the court in pregame prep. This should be a good one, No. 1 vs. No. 5. The following game between Clayton and Wausau Newman is No. 2 vs. No. 3 in ranked teams in the state.
