LAS VEGAS — Darlington graduate Alex Erickson had a 13-yard touchdown catch in the second half of the Los Angeles Chargers’ 63-21 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders during Thursday Night Football on Dec. 14.

Erickson, also a former Wisconsin Badgers WR, made the grab with 8:39 left in the fourth quarter with his team trailing 63-7. Chargers head coach Brandon Staley was fired days after the game, as was general manager Tom Telesco.

The 63 points set a franchise record for the Raiders, who led 42-0 at halftime.

Erickson is in his seventh season in the NFL. His last touchdown came in 2017 with the Cincinnati Bengals.
