MONROE - Monticello's Mark Hawthorn won the Super Stock class at the Badger State Tractor Pull at the 162nd annual Green County Fair Thursday night.

Hawthorn had the top pull of 325.61 feet. Hawthorn's pull was about four feet ahead of Monroe's Jay Anderson, who took second.

Only two classes of the tractor pull were completed Thursday due to thunderstorms and lightning that hit Green County and wiped out the remainder of the pull.

Don Slama of Hillsboro won the Super Farm class with a pull of 344.71. Black Earth's Brian Barman placed second (341.66).

Another session of the Badger State Tractor Pull was held Friday night. Look for results in Monday's Times.
