MONROE - Monroe Youth Hockey is sponsoring the 5K and 10K Cheesemaker Chase, a kids race and a two-mile fun walk Saturday, Sept. 18 during Cheese Days.
The race starts at 9 a.m. Those interested in running can register at the organization's website www.monroeyouthhockey.com. The registration fee for the Cheesemaker Chase is $30. Registration can be completed online or the form can be completed and mailed in by 10 p.m. Sept. 16.
The race starts and finishes at the Courthouse on the Square. There are seven age divisions for men and women. Awards will be given after the race at Minhas Brewery on the corner of 12th Street and 16th Avenue.
