MONROE - Kyle Bruce and Eric Timm won the individual championship at the Monroe Best Ball Invitational on Saturday.
The Cheesemaker duo took advantage of playing on their home course and shot a 72 to top the leaderboard by two shots over Milton's top duo. Monona Grove won the invite by six shots over the Cheesemakers 236-242.
For Bruce, the first place comes on the heels of winning the Evansville Invitational April 27. Jason Atkinson and Kyle Williams shot an 84 and Matt Miller and Caleb Pagel carded an 86.
Monroe gets back into Badger South play with a match at Fort Atkinson on Thursday.
