CLINTON - The Black Hawk boys track and field team finished sixth among nine teams and the girls took eighth at the Beloit Daily News Invitational on Friday.
Black Hawk's Jen Wellnitz won the 100-meter dash (12.73) and the 200 (26.89), and was fourth in the triple jump. Olivia Holland won the 300 hurdles (48.92).
The Warriors' Chris Priebe won the 1,600 with a time of 4:39.8 and he took third in the 3,200 (10:18.87).
Tanner Sweeney took third the long jump (19 feet, 8 1/2 inches).
The Warriors' 400 relay team of DeeJay Warrell, Jayden Rufenacht, Hayden Schliem and Jace Johnsrud took third with a time of 44.67. In the 800 relay, Rufenacht and Warrell teamed with Kyle Woodruff and Shawn Woodruff to finish third in 1:37.52.
