Saturdays Bantams tourney schedule

- Saturday, Dec. 5, 7 p.m. - Dubuque vs. Monroe
- Sunday, Dec. 6, 12:30 p.m. - Monroe vs. McFarland
- Sunday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m. - Elmbrook vs. Dubuque
The Monroe Avalanche Bantams team won, 6-4 against the Patriots A Team at the Hartmeyer Ice Arena in Madison Saturday.
Jason Johnson scored a hat trick. Daniel Gerhard had two goals and Eric Bush scored the other. Gerhard added a pair of assists. Bush, Johnny Kallgren and Jake Trickel also had an assist each during the game.
Goalie Jess Hager had 17 saves.
On Sunday, the team faced off against the Middleton A Team at Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, losing 8-0.
Goalie Jess Hager guarded the net and had 39 saves for the game.
On Dec. 5 and 6, the Monroe Youth Hockey Association is hosting a Bantam tournament at StateLine Ice and Community Expo.
