MONROE - On Thursday:

• Deputies responded at 8:05 a.m. to a one-vehicle crash in the N9600 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. The driver had already left the scene. Investigation revealed that at about 4 a.m., Makayla Jo Krueger, 21, Mount Horeb, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer. Her vehicle collided with the highway's guard rail and went down a steep embankment. She then left the scene. She told deputies she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained severe damage and had to be towed. Krueger was cited for failure to maintain control of the vehicle, failure to notify police of the crash, hit-and-run on property adjacent to a highway, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without proof of vehicle insurance. New Glarus police assisted on scene.

• James E. Yurs struck a deer in the W2100 block of County E, Town of Albany.

• Debra A. Franks struck a deer, in the N2100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 6:35 a.m. at the intersection of County FF and Ladwig Road, Town of Sylvester. Aaron L. Lemon, 21, Beloit, was eastbound on County FF when he told deputies his vehicle started to hydroplane and he lost control and struck an embankment. The airbags deployed. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed.
