MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 4:05 a.m. Sunday on Dunphy Road in the town of Albany. Reports indicate that Green County Deputy Betsy Krantz was westbound on Dunphy Road when a raccoon ran out of the tall grass on the north side of the road and hit with the right front tire of the Sheriff's squad. The vehicle received minor damage to the right front bumper and tore part of the air dam off, but it was driven from the scene.

- Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 4:55 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 11, near Steiner Road, in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Bradley R. Butler, 16, Browntown, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when he fell asleep, crossed the center line and sideswiped a westbound truck driven by Ervin P. Allen, 61, Browntown. Both received injuries in the crash. Both vehicles received moderate damage and were towed from scene. Butler was issued a citation for inattentive driving, and Allen was issued a citation for a seatbelt violation. Both subjects were released.
