Sheriff's dog retires; dept. to get new K-9

The Green County Sheriff's Department's K-9 Grischa retired at the end of his shift on Friday, May 25 after more than eight years of service. Grischa, a 9 1/2-year-old male German Shepherd, will now become the property of and live with his handler, Deputy Charlie Worm. Grischa is trained in narcotics detection, tracking, building searches and handler protection.
