Sheep bet results in second charge

DARLINGTON - The second of two men involved in a "little scuffle" at a Wiota bar in August has now also been charged in Lafayette County Circuit Court with disorderly conduct related to the incident. Virgil Leroy Kingery, Jr., 34, Gratiot, was charged Nov. 21 with a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct for the Aug. 16 incident at the Crossroads Bar and Grill. The other man, Ronald F. Ray, 46, Darlington, was charged earlier this fall with battery and disorderly conduct related to the same incident and has since pleaded not guilty.
