Roger "Red" William Brewer
Roger "Red" William Brewer, 70, of Albany passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2017. He was born on February, 25, 1947 in Monroe the son of Fay and Valliere (Walmer) Brewer. Red was united in marriage to Jan S. Baertschi on October 16, 1976 in Rockton, IL. He was a 1965 graduate of Albany High School. Red honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp. from 1967-1970 during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Okinawa.

Red was a manager at Green Rock FS; serving both the Albany and Brodhead communities, he retired after over 30 years, in 2011. He enjoyed retirement by spending time with family and friends, gardening at the family garden with his dog, G, and shuttling his grandchildren around. Red was a very loyal fan of Wisconsin sports including the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Jan; son, Lance (Karen) Brewer, their children, Jared and Aiden; son, Reggie Brewer, his children, Skylar, Rhylin, and Raydin; daughter, Marcie (Ryan) Brugger, their children, Aubree, Kelsee, and Brynlee; brothers, Gary (Colleen) Brewer and family, Glenn (Joann) Brewer and family; his lifelong friend, Karl (Jeannie) Blumer; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Fred and Dorothy Baertschi.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 4:00-7:00pm at the SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. A private family service will be held. The family requests that you wear your favorite Wisconsin sports attire in Red's memory.
