Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Sunday:

• A deputy assisted Darlington Police with a disorderly conduct complaint at 12:05 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• A noise complaint was reported at 2:24 a.m. on Maple Street in Blanchardville.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:24 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Wiota Township.

• An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 9:53 a.m. on Kingsley Road in Gratiot Township.

• A deputy assisted to unlock a vehicle at 10:24 a.m. on South Penn Street in Belmont.

• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 11:04 a.m. on County M in Wiota Township.

• A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff at 12:26 p.m. at 14th Street in the Village of Hazel Green in Grant County with a welfare check.

• A trespassing complaint was reported at 1:29 p.m. on County O in Kendall Township.

• An erratic driver complaint was reported at 3:47 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• A deputy responded at 3:55 p.m. on Holland Road in Seymour Township for a welfare check.

• An animal on the roadway was reported at 5:50 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

• Nelson D. Amaya-Perea, 29, Darlington, was cited for operating without a valid driver's license at 7 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. Amaya-Perea was transported to the Lafayette County Jail and was later released.

• A deputy assisted in a vehicle unlock at 7:22 p.m. on Grandview Avenue in Argyle.

• Matthew C. Grant, 45, Blanchardville, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 7:59 p.m. on South Main Street in Blanchardville after deputies responded to a disorderly conduct complaint. Grant was transported to the Lafayette County Jail and was later released on bond.

• A suspicious vehicle complaint was received at 8:22 p.m. on Rennick Road in Shullsburg Township.

• A deputy responded at 8:50 p.m. to West Center Street in South Wayne for a 911 misdial.

On Monday:

• A traffic complaint was reported at 6:53 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot Township.

n Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:36 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

• Jessica R. Glenzer-Czenczek, 19, Wisconsin Rapids, was cited for no proof of insurance at 11:10 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township.

On Tuesday:

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:35 a.m. on Dump Road in Benton Township.

• An accident was reported at 9:46 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.

• A hit-and-run was reported at 9:56 a.m. on Jenkynsville Road in Benton Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:31 a.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

A traffic complaint was reported at 3:49 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg Township. Shullsburg Police assisted.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 4:39 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township.

• Maria G. Magna-Garcia, 45, Belmont, was cited for speeding, operating without a driver's license and no insurance at 5:21 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township.

• An injured deer was reported at 7:58 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 9:36 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington for a welfare check.

• A deputy responded at 10:03 p.m. on East Truth Street in the City of Shullsburg for a welfare check.

• A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 10:38 p.m. on Arthur Street in Darlington after a utility problem was reported.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Oct. 16:

• A parking complaint was reported at 8:09 a.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd Street. The vehicle belonged to a worker and no further action was taken.

• A complaint was received for damage at 10:40 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street. A decorative cow had been damaged some time over the weekend. Anyone who knows anything about the incident should contact the New Glarus Police Department.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 3:38 p.m. in New Glarus Township with a welfare check.

• Burglary to a business was reported at 5:10 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street. After an investigation, it was determined the damage was old.

On Oct. 17:

• Police removed lumber from the roadway at 9:09 a.m. on County W near Wis. 69.

• Jansen S. Estoya, 21, New Glarus, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance at 12:27 p.m. in the 600 block of 14th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff with a motorist at 6:12 p.m. at the N7200 block of Wis. 69.

On Wednesday:

• Police disposed of a used hypodermic needle someone found discarded in a row of shrubs at 11:08 a.m. at their residence.

• Police stood by at 1:17 p.m. while a subject picked up some of his belongings at a residence in New Glarus.

• Police were dispatched at 3:01 p.m. to the 600 block of 2nd Avenue for a medical call.

• Police handled a complaint of a juvenile possibly possessing a firearm at 3:53 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street. The juvenile was located and had an air soft gun.

• A 911 misdial was responded to at 11:21 p.m. at the 900 block of Glarner Drive.

On Thursday:

• A parking complaint was reported at 3:33 p.m. in the 200 block of 12th Avenue. Contact was made with the owner and the vehicle was removed.

• A report of a subject in all dark clothing was reported at 7:18 p.m. in the area of Wis. 69. Police checked the area, but the subject was not located.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 7:35 p.m. with checking Wis. 69 and Peerless Road, north of New Glarus, for a report of a subject in dark clothing walking the area.

On Friday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 7:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Hillside Circle.

• A dog at large was reported at 9:47 p.m. in the 800 block of 10th Avenue.

• Police performed a welfare check at 11:55 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Saturday:

• An animal complaint was received at 9:18 a.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street. Police moved a dead opossum to the side of the road and left a message with the street department.

• An animal complaint was received at 2:25 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street. The caller was advised that police were aware of a dead opossum and it would be removed by public works on Monday.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 2:26 p.m. in the N9100 block of County O for a subject walking on the roadway. The subject was not located.

• Police received a wallet at 4:19 p.m. that was found in the 500 block of 14th Avenue, which was later returned to its owner.

• Police were dispatched to a medical call at 5:27 p.m. in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

• Casey S. Arnsmeier, 23, Monroe, was cited at 6:10 p.m. on County W on Hoelsy Drive for illegal window tint after a traffic stop.

On Sunday:

• A parking citation was issued at 2:29 a.m. in the 100 block of 2nd Street for an unregistered vehicle parked on the street.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff with a 911 call at 1:16 p.m. at East Coates Road in Monticello. The call was a misdial.

• Jeffrey L. Kleeman, 42, New Glarus, was arrested for an active body-only warrant at 5:59 p.m. He was held at the Green County Jail.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• A bicycle was found in the 400 block of 27th Street and turned in to the Monroe Police Department where it may be claimed.

• Chad E. Pehl, 44, Davis, Illinois, was arrested at 10:38 a.m. in the 500 block of 6th Street for a warrant issued by probation and parole. Pehl was confined in the Green County Jail.

• Cody J. Ott, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 10:46 a.m. in the 2000 block of 4th Street on a warrant issued by probation and parole. He was confined at the Green County Jail.
