Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Gilberto Mazanett-Pena, 42, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, following a domestic disturbance on Ohio Street. He was jailed.

n Dan Riechling, 42, Darlington, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at about 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, following a traffic stop on Main Street.

- Daniel Rolli, 18, Darlington, was cited for hit-and-run following an investigation into a traffic crash on Harriet Street at 7:03 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18.

- Brett E. Bergan, 44, Darlington, was cited for non-registration of an auto and driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 9:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday, Nov. 20:

- Donald G. Bornemeier, 32, Monroe, was arrested at 4:26 p.m. in the parking lot of Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., on an outstanding warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to pay a fine. An officer made the arrest after seeing Bornemeier during a routine patrol. The officer allowed him to go into Walmart to cash a check so he could post the required bond. He was then released.

- A business owner in the 1700 block of 10th Street called police at 9:46 a.m. to complain of two male skateboarders in the area. The skateboarders, ages 19 and 22, were warned.

- Two men, ages 58 and 62, were warned to settle their differences in a civil manner after police were called at 2:01 p.m. to the 2200 block of Edgeview Drive for a harassment complaint. The former roommates were arguing over belongings when one reportedly threatened to shoot the other man with a pellet gun.

- A man complained at 3:53 p.m. that a large black dog with a collar had lunged at him in the 1300 block of 17th Avenue. Police looked for but did not locate the dog.

- A cat carcass was found in the road near the intersection of 4th Avenue and 6th Street at 4:14 p.m. Police notified the Streets Department to remove the dead animal.

- A man reported finding a friendly female Boxer-type dog at 4:37 p.m. in the 800 block of 17th Street. The dog was taken to the Green County Humane Society. She will go up for adoption in seven days if the owner doesn't claim her. The man who found the dog told police he's planning to adopt her in that case because he took a liking to her.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday, Nov. 20:

- Daniel Campos, 21, Stockton, Ill., was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license at 3:08 a.m. in the N5100 block of County N in the Town of Washington.

- Andrew T. Johnson, 48, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 4:35 a.m. on Wisconsin 69 at Monroe Road in the Town of Monroe.

- Shannon M. Turnbill, 35, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 5:08 p.m. in the W3100 block of County EE in the Town of Mount Pleasant. She was warned for having a defective headlight and not having her vehicle registered.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Nov. 20:

- Belmont Travel Center, 102 W. Mount View Road, was issued a citation at 6 a.m. for selling tobacco products to a minor. The violation stems from a sale made Nov. 8 to a Wisconsin Wins juvenile.

- Wayne M. Johnson, 51, Albany, was cited for speeding at 10:41 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. A passenger, Kenneth M. Johnson, 22, Albany, was taken into custody on two Green County warrants. Johnson was turned over to a Green County deputy.

- Jake M. McKillip, 30, Darlington, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 11:24 a.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Lamont.

- Susan A. Redfearn, 41, Platteville, was taken into custody by the Platteville Police Department on a valid Lafayette County warrant and transported at 12:20 p.m. to the Lafayette County Jail. She later posted bond and was released.

- Hayden A. Sherwood, 20, Rockton, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:38 p.m. on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Stephen T. Smith, 22, and Harold W. Smith, 24, both of Shullsburg, were cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report at 3:37 p.m. of two males fighting on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

- Justin M. Phillips, 16, Platteville, was cited for failure to maintain control after a deputy located a license plate belonging to Phillips at the scene of a hit-and-run accident with property damage at 3:45 p.m. in the Town of Belmont. Phillips was northbound on West Mound Road at a high rate of speed when he attempted to turn left on Mound View Road. He lost control, and his 2003 Honda slid into the ditch, hit a culvert and then veered across the road into the opposite ditch. Phillips then left the scene. The Honda was moderately damaged. Phillips reported neither he nor any of his passengers were injured from the accident.

- Rodrigo Perez Ramirez, 49, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance after deputies investigated a traffic complaint at 3:55 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour. He posted the required bond and was released.

- A deputy took a report of a trespassing complaint on County G in the Town of Willow Springs at 3:20 p.m. The suspects were hunters, and the incident had occurred the previous weekend.
