Monroe Police MONROE - A 12-year-old male student at Parkside Elementary, 920 4th St., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, March 15, after the boy became physically violent toward staff. Police have been routinely called to the school in recent weeks for disturbances involving the same boy. He was transported to a juvenile facility.•  Edward D. Hille, Jr., 17, Monroe, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia (several marijuana pipes) at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in the 1800 block of 12th Street.•  Carole L. Miranda, 60, Blanchardville, was cited for shoplifting about $300 in merchandise, including jewelry, hair products and pruning shears, from a business in the 400 block of West 8th Street at 5:04 p.m. Thursday, March 15.•  Four car burglaries were reported the morning of Thursday, March 15, at a trailer park in the 500 block of West 21st Street.
